Hosted by The Ontario Handweavers and Spinners, this annual conference is a fantastic 3-day event to immerse you in fibre learning and socialising! The conference includes a juried exhibition, silent auction, keynote speakers, fibre vendors and workshops. The keynote speakers this year will be:
Doris Millerson – Assistant Professor in Fibre and Chair of Material Art & Design at OCAD University, and artist making intricate & complex thread sculptures illustrating modern life.
Mary Underwood – Spinner, weaver and historian who has turned her pursuit of weaving education and an unexpected research project into an endless adventure.
