• “Tying Up the Countermarch Loom” by Joanne Hall
Reason for selling: Making room in my studio to share with my daughter!
History of this loom:
• Special ordered from Sweden in the early 70s by a university prof in Nova Scotia
• Sold to a woman in 1987 who used it to weave ‘a few things’, then moved to London, Ontario, in 1990, leaving the loom in pieces in the basement for over 30 years
• Purchased by me in March 2021 & refurbished with some new parts & completely set up with Texsolv cords
• Since then, I have woven countless shawls, ruanas, blankets & rugs on this loom
